Why?
Fresh peach flesh contains vitamins A and C, fiber, and antioxidants. It is safe for dogs in small amounts.
How much can dogs have?
A few small pieces of fresh peach flesh, pit completely removed.
What to watch out for
The pit contains amygdalin which converts to cyanide — never let a dog chew or swallow a peach pit. Pit is also a choking and blockage hazard. Avoid canned peaches in syrup.
