๐Ÿšจ Dangerous. Extremely dangerous. Expands in stomach and produces alcohol.

Why?

Raw bread or pizza dough containing yeast is dangerous for two reasons: the dough expands in the warm, moist environment of the stomach potentially causing bloat, and the yeast produces ethanol as a byproduct causing alcohol poisoning.

How much can dogs have?

NONE. Uncooked yeast dough of any kind.

What to watch out for

Symptoms include distended abdomen, vomiting, weakness, and signs of alcohol intoxication. Bloat from expansion can be fatal without emergency surgery.
